Concord Lions met Tuesday June 12 to sort and pack eyeglasses which have be left at recycling sites throughout the city. 900 pairs of glasses were pack to be sent to NC Lions where they will be gathered with over 150k others collected within our state.
Used eyeglasses prescriptions are read, glasses sorted in containers, and are used in impoverish areas where doctors provide free exams and glasses.
